This is an OPEN to all levels class, which also accommodates a beginner.  It begins in a relaxed posture with focus on settling the breathing through basic techniques to further relax the mind and body.  The class then moves into a thorough warm up usually lying on the floor, seated or kneeling.  The remaining class is a mixture of postures that create some strength and length of muscles.  Much emphasis is placed on correct alignment for those who want to further their established practise or for beginners wanting to establish a practise correctly from the beginning.  The class ends with a type of inverted posture to further restore the body's endocrine and nervous systems making it deeply relaxing.  After a short lay down you will expect to feel relaxed, alert, balanced and happy.  Sequencing and pace are determined by the overall energy levels of everyone in the class.

* Please bring your own mat and a towel if you wish to use our bolsters and blankets.
