WINTER-IN is a slow, intentional and nourishing gathering to honour the rhythm of Winter.
Winter asks us to turn inward, to conserve, to rest deeply.
Most of us override that asking. This evening is a chance to finally say yes to it.
The evening flows through three practices:
Self-Abhyanga : a guided oil self-massage using organic black sesame oil, Ayurveda's most foundational self-care practice. You will be guided through each step with teaching along the way. Your bottle of oil comes home with you.
Tantric Hatha Yoga : a slow, breath-led grounded practice woven through with mantra. Designed for the inward-turning quality of winter rather than building heat or exertion.
Yoga Nidra : a deep rest practice written specifically for this evening and this season. Practised lying down, at the threshold between waking and sleep.
*No yoga experience is required.
This evening is suitable for anyone drawn to slowing down, nourishing the body and meeting the winter season with intention.
What to bring: A yoga mat, comfortable, warm clothing. Everything else is provided.
What you take home: A small bottle of organic black sesame oil and a nourished, rested body and mind.
